Mixed-signal CMOS IC Design
High-speed high-dynamic-range D/A converters and related analog/mixed-signal circuits.
Our mixed-signal CMOS IC design research addresses the critical challenges in data conversion, signal conditioning, and high-speed interface circuits. We push the boundaries of performance in advanced CMOS technology nodes.
Key research areas include:
- High-speed DAC design: 16-bit 10GS/s with SFDR >67dB up to Nyquist
- Wideband high-dynamic-range D/A converter architectures
- Low-jitter clock generation and distribution (PLL, DLL)
- Precision analog front-end circuits for sensor interfaces
- Time-interleaved ADC architectures with digital calibration
- Power-efficient transceiver building blocks for wireline and wireless
Our designs leverage advanced calibration and compensation techniques to overcome process variation and parasitic effects in deep submicron CMOS. We maintain active collaborations with industry partners for technology transfer and commercialization.
